Jam tart

Ingredients:
250 g flour
125 g sugar
125 g butter cut in cubes
1 egg
Pinch of salt
Zest of 1 lemon

Description:
In a large bowl mix flour, sugar, salt together add egg lemon zest and butter and mix by hand until the dough comes together.
Cover and chill for 1 hour in the fridge.
Grease one round pan with 24 cm in diameter.
Take 2/3 of the dough and spread in the pan. Top with Al Atayeb Apricot jam (2/3 cup approximately).

Spread the remaining piece of dough and cut into star shape on top. Sprinkle with almond slices.

Bake in a preheated oven 180 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden!
