Alain Kattan founded Mantara, a brand from Maghdouche, dedicated to showcasing the town’s high-quality agricultural products like olive oil and orange blossom water. It supports local farmers with fair prices and sustainable practices. Alain’s vision stretches beyond its village aiming to share Maghdouche’s treasures with the world.
Alain left his desk job behind, to follow his dream and support local farmers in his village.
He shared with us what inspired him “As a proud native of this beautiful town, nestled in Lebanon's South Governorate, Maghdouche holds a special place in my heart. The fertile lands, bathed in sunshine, have always nurtured a deep connection to agriculture – it's in our blood. This love for our land inspired me to launch Mantara, a brand dedicated to sharing the bounty of Maghdouche with the world.”
