Pickled plant from the sea, goes by many names, like Rock Samphire or Sea Fennel/Sea Dew Herb/Hashishet Bahr! It is richer in Vitamin C than oranges (76.6mg/100g versus 53.2mg/100g), minus the calories from sugar!
It is also rich in flavonoids, tannins, polyphenols and carotenoids.
Usage:

Good with labneh and bread!
With cheese
With cold meat or fish boards
With freshly cooked fish
With pate and toast.
