Touma’s farm, led by Tony Touma, located in Ebel el Saki, Marjeyoun, started planting commercially as a result of the Lebanese economic crisis, in 2020. They don’t use any kind of chemicals or pesticides, and are following the principles of organic agriculture, such as including farm animals and using their manure as fertilizer instead of chemical fertilizers. They hope to be financially capable to apply for certification soon.
